Adidas Forum Mid Crazy Light - Electricity

The Adidas Forum Mid Crazy Light

Adidas has fired the first shots in the basketball sneaker wars for the summer with an aggressive marketing campaign for the adiZero™ Crazy Light.  With their new SprintWeb technology, the company has found a way to crafting the lightest performers on the market.  The subject of this Spotlight Special looks at the classic Forum Mid, redone with this light weight technology.  The result is the updated version, named the Forum Mid Crazy Light.
Adidas Forum Mid Crazy Light - ElectricityThis revamped Forum Mid Crazy Light carries the same iconic shape as the original 80’s performer.  The flat white rubber outsole is marked with Adidas logos all over and is topped with a thick white and grey midsole, which has stitching through the center.  On the upper, the bright Electricity dominates the look.  For the Sprint Web, the color has a darker green shade, while the nylon parts and laces shine through in the Electricity.  Finally, the Adidas stamp is observed all over in white, with the three stripes on the sides, and Adidas logo on the tongue and heel.

Nike started the mainstream light weight market that we see today with the Hyperdunk and Flywire technology.  Flywire has quickly made their impact , and now Hyperfuse technology is a successor to the lightweight trend.  For Adidas, the shape of their light weight started with the basketball Sprintskin, which was seen with the Adipure, adiZero™ Rose, and Dwight Howard Superbeast lines.  Which now brings us to the SprintWeb, as Adidas, like Nike, is incorporating this technology into all aspects of their basketball line including this classic Forum Mid.  Available now at the Adidas Online store in two color schemes is the Adidas Forum Mid Crazy Light.
